Student Tutors

My name is Luke and I am a Melbourne-based tutor through STN. I have completed a Bachelor of Science (Hons Class I) and am in the midst of completing a Master of Public Health. Since graduation from my bachelor’s degree I have also worked in science-based roles as a Laboratory Assistant and Research Assistant in biomedical research laboratories. As such, my knowledge base is in the sciences, particularly biology and human biology, with general knowledge across most subjects. As a Research Assistant, I was responsible for teaching and onboarding any new team members. In my current role as a Partnerships Manager I am involved in education through delivering seminars/workshops and e-learning course development. These have made me comfortable with interacting with a broad range of people and learning how to tailor my communication to match the person I am teaching. I aim to provide a personalised service where I get to know the person’s syllabus/curriculum and supplement their work with a variety of media to keep learning interesting and engaging. I am available for online tutoring through Zoom and face to face tutoring.
