Student Tutors

Hi! I'm Edward Heaney and I tutor English, Math, Modern History and Latin at every level, specialising in early high school. I achieved a high Band 6 in all subjects and received an ATAR of 99.65. I focus on creating a supportive learning environment that focuses on fundamentals and consistency to ensure great results. I've had extensive experience as a tutor for these subjects and can effectively communicate complex concepts and topics to students at all levels. Giving the student the skills they need to continue their learning throughout their life and helping them feel confident in what they learn are essential aspects to learning, and through my emphasis on approachability and encouragement, I find students are able use these skills to achieve success. I'm punctual and structured, communication is an essential part of my teaching. At every step, both the parent and the student are kept aware of the goals and the current level of progress towards them. I look forward to teaching with you, and the great results sure to come!
