My name is Thu Le. I am studying the Bachelor of Arts double major in Geography and Criminology at the University of Melbourne. I am excited to study alongside and share the knowledge with all of you in the fields of English, E.A.L., the Humanities and Social Studies. I believe that education is not only about striving for academic achievements. Education is a platform for individuals, especially young people, to explore and discover more about themselves through academic resources. Together with academic improvement, self-comprehension and empowered individuals are the ultimate goals of education. As a strong adherent to this belief, I place great emphasis on encouraging my students to find out and understand more about their inner characteristics throughout their academic journeys. As a tutor, I am committed to provide a healthy, stimulating and lively environment that will enhance the ability to acquire knowledge of my students. I am aiming at a learning environment with engaging and valuable discussions around key knowledge and relevant topics at its heart. Alongside these discussions, a weekly reflection is also included conducted in a range of forms, such as self-evaluating exercises, quizzes and group activities. My passion to work with young people and my visions of an encompassing learning environment promise the quality of education and development for my students.
