Hello, my name is Sanika Godbole. I am a recent university graduate from the University of New South Wales, and have completed a Bachelor of Arts, majoring in Asian Studies and History. History is my passion and has been since high school. I am aiming to pursue a career in research and academia, specialising in South Asian history. One of my other academic interests is the Japanese language, which I took as a subject during my HSC years. I aim to complete the Japanese Language Proficiency Test (JLPT) at the highest level in the near future. I am deeply involved in the local Indian community and have been learning Indian classical dance for fifteen years. I have also recently graduated from my dance school, and continue to learn and perform. Having grown up learning three languages, one of which is English, I have gained a deep understanding about the power and impact of languages, which is why I have also helped to translate and edit a Marathi language biography, Marathi being my mother-tongue. I am passionate about teaching and I will spare no efforts to be as helpful as possible, so that my students can achieve the best possible results.
