Student Tutors

My name is Sacha Paterson and I am a twenty year old literature and creative writing student at University of Canberra. Commencing in February I shall be a Masters of Teaching student focusing on English and Humanities. Over the next two years, I will be developing my training as a future high school English teacher, and tutoring is one of the ways I can be of service to the education field prior to my graduation. I am qualified to tutor in English and Humanities, however I am always willing to branch out my knowledge and help where I can. I have tutored children between the ages of five and eighteen, all of whom have been studying in various school and streams and as a result, I understand that every child learns differently. Furthermore, I am a British/ European immigrant and have therefore been exposed to different methods of education myself. I have been enrolled, as well as tutored students enrolled in the IB, public school and international school systems and understand that students respond differently to a plethora of approaches and will accommodate based on those requirements. Regardless of what stream you are in, I will be there to navigate it with you and help out in any way I can in order to benefit your education.
