Student Tutors

Hi! My name is Rose and I’m currently studying a combined Bachelor of Law/Arts degree in the University of Newcastle. I completed my O levels in 2017 with A*s for English, Literature and History. Last year, I completed WACE on a 50% scholarship from my college in Malaysia. Growing up in both Australia and Malaysia, I’ve had a mixed experience of education (having to adapt to both the British and Australian curriculums) and I’ve always found that one on one tutoring helped me understand difficult concepts that I’d always be too afraid to address in the classroom. Having an international background has helped shape my perception on education and I appreciate how many different learning styles I have been offered. Everyone has a different way of learning and as a tutor, I aim to help unlock a student’s learning approach so that together, we can reach their full potential!
