Hi! I’m Noa, and I am studying a double degree of Science & Biomedical Science at Monash University. I achieved an ATAR of 99.85 in 2020, and studied English (50), Biology (48), Chemistry (40), Mathematical Methods (44), Literature (44), Hebrew (38, 4th in the state) I strive to instil a deep, nuanced and confident knowledge of content and concept within my students by adjusting my techniques and approaches to meet each individual learning style. I am always willing to share my own experiences, as I believe that it strongly impacts the relationship between students and mentors, enhancing understanding and motivation. I am very friendly and love interacting with people, have a passion for learning and the subjects I am tutoring, and do my best to infect students with that same passion !! I will absorb every opportunity given to become a better tutor, and my goal is to inspire students to be their best. I also believe in only doing the necessary work, and bring originality to the table where this is concerned, as I will be teaching beyond the classroom. I will provide VCE students with: General & Specific Advice A Subject-Specific Set of Notes (Biology, Chemistry, English) Plenty of my own Resources & Questions Examination Questions Definitions for relevant terminology & vocabulary words for English FOR PROSPECTIVE VCE ENGLISH STUDENTS: in my year 12, I studied Things Fall Apart (Section A) + Ransom//the Queen (Section B), achieving a 20/20 for the comparative essay in this section. I can aid students not studying these texts with editing + polishing essays, Argument Analysis, general techniques & skills.
