Student Tutors

Hi, I’m Matthew, I’m 27 years old and Live in Brisbane! I’m currently studying to be a Secondary mathematics teacher and am very passionate about both math and helping young people achieve their goals. I have an excellent understanding of all things maths related and have previously completed an engineering degree and want to be able to share my skills with other people. I have several years of experience working in schools and with young people, helping them achieve their goals and improve their skills in education. I believe it is very important that all young people be given the opportunity to become numerate through learning maths as this will help set them up for a bright future and develop life long skills for work and living. I also believe in the importance of helping young people on their learning journeys and that this looks different for everyone, I really enjoy being able to spend 1 on 1 time with students and understanding how to best offer support to them. In my spare time I like to keep fit and active both in and out of the gym and enjoy relaxing with some video games.
