“I’m not smart enough for this!” these words were the story of my life for a long time! Hey all! I’m John Raffoul, I’m 22 and the youngest of my family of seven. I grew up in Parramatta and moved to Fairfield East in 2019. I completed the HSC back in 2015, and then completed a Double Major and Double Minor in Philosophy in 2019, acquiring a High Distinction average for the last two years. After, due to a natural love for learning, I taught myself Algebra, Trigonometry, Differential and Integral Calculus, and some University Physics in 2019, so as to begin a degree in STEM in 2020. Let me be clear: I was certainly not gifted growing up and it took much effort and drive to go from being a below-average student to where I am now. I have so much advice I would love to share with you to help you on your academic journey! Beside my geeky habits, I love bush walks and exploring new places with family and friends; I love speaking with anyone and everyone knowing there's always something to learn and appreciate from them.
