Student Tutors

Hi, my name is Jay and I am a former research physicist now living on the Central Coast spending much of my time in family care. I offer casual tutoring services for maths and physics at most levels. I graduated from The University of Melbourne in 2013 with a PhD in theoretical physics. I previously worked on electron microscopy at the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST, USA) and I am a current contributor to the IUCr International Tables for Crystallography (it.iucr.org). I have several years of tutoring and lecturing experience at the University of Melbourne and am happy to help with students of all levels and backgrounds. I have taught students ranging from primary school to postgraduate level, from special needs to top of the class. Teaching was always a favourite part of my time in academia, and I look forward to helping any local students in need. Thanks, -Jay
