Hi! I’m Connor, I completed my HSC in 2015, coming first in Extension English at my school. I went on to graduate from University of New England with a Bachelor of Arts double-majoring in International History and Writing in early 2019, a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) Class II, Division 1 in Modern History in early 2020, and beyond those I'm considering a Masters in Secondary Education. Writing and history have been my passions pretty much as long as I can remember, and I’d be more than happy to pass that passion onto others, or help them achieve their potential. From personal experience, I think the best way to learn is through engagement with the material, so my objective is to understand students and tailor learning to their own interests. My expertise is essay writing, which I’d consider a vital skill for anyone studying English or HSIE subjects; I can provide a wealth of tips, techniques, proofreading and feedback while preparing students for their assignments and exams. Having won 3 Writing awards in high school and completing university units on storytelling and short fiction, I can do the same for creative writing. In my spare time I play guitar, nerd out over Star Wars and Lord of the Rings, play Dungeons and Dragons, and absorb any historical fiction/fantasy I can find.
